The homemade pastries at breakfast were good, especially the orange juice straight from the farm. The pool area is refreshing and serene. Plus, the charming old furniture really adds a fairytale vibe to the experience.

If you're after sleek modernity, this old mansion might not be your scene. It's got eccentric charm with its huge ceilings and long corridors, but the dated decor might feel a little out of place for some.

The stay was absolutely excellent. The breakfast was generous and delicious with classic music, and the pool was great. The twin room was airy and had all that we needed. Location - it was marvellous and stunning, a bus stop was next to the hotel: )

Comfortable place, I felt really good.

Location: the hotel was just next door to a quiet tourist information centre, the Castle of the Moors, and the free gardens. It also was to Sintra's old town. Booked wheelchair accessible room with windows to both direction, fireplace, for example, which I really appreciated. The food was GREAT - a wide range of options.

Charming stay amidst fine gardens

Every morning, I opened the windows to vibrant bird songs and views of beautifully maintained gardens. The buffet breakfast was lovely, especially the freshly squeezed orange juice. The staff were pretty good too.

Although the decor adds character, it may feel dated for some tastes.
